New In // Black Lerock

Heute gibt es mal wieder einen "New In" Post für euch. Welches Teil es diesmal geschafft hat, hier von mir präsentiert zu werden? Dieser coole Pullover von Black Lerock! Besonders raffiniert finde ich, dass es auf den ersten Blick ein einfacher schlichter Sweater ist, der erst beim zweiten Hinsehen zahlreiche Details erkennen lässt. Die Nylonärmel sind farblich abgesetzt und wirken durch den Aufnäher an der Schulter und die schwarzen Nieten ein wenig bikermäßig. Einen femininen Touch erhält der Pullover dann aber durch den hübschen Spitzensaum unten, der es mir total angetan hat, ich liebe solche Details! Auf dem untersten Bild bekommt ihr schon einmal einen kleine Vorgeschmack, wie das gute Stück getragen aussieht, der ganze Outfitpost folgt in Kürze! 

Today I´m finally showing you a "New In" post again. This time I´m showing you this gorgeous sweater by Black Lerock. What I love most about it is the fact that at first sight it seems to be a very simple sweater and by looking closer you can find lots of stunning details. The sleeves are made out of nylon and because of the patches and the studs they look quite biker-like. But my favorite detail is the lace at the bottom, it looks so sweet and girly and gives the sweater a more feminine touch! On the last picture I´m giving you a little preview of the outfit I´ve worn with my new baby. To be continued soon, so stay tuned!

Gimme Some Tartan

Auch bei mir ist es soweit: Ich sehe Tartan! Nein, ich bin nicht verrückt geworden und bilde mir ein, Tarzan leibhaftig zu erblicken, ich spreche von Tartan, das ist der neue denglische Begriff für das Schottenkaro. Vor ungefährt 20 Jahren hatte ich schon einmal solche Karohosen, damals allerdings in Rot und mit Schlaufen unten. Ich kann mich noch erinnern, dass ich diese Hosen ganz, ganz toll fand und dann ganz, ganz traurig war, als ich rausgewachsen war (ja, auch ich bin mal gewachsen).. Kein Wunder also, dass mich das Tartan-Fieber gepackt hat!:) Neben dieser grün/blauen Hose durfte noch ein Schal in diesem Muster bei mir einziehen, auf den ihr bei Instagram schonmal einen Blick werfen konntet (hier). Habt ihr euch auch schon ein paar Teile mit dem trendigen Muster zugelegt?

The time has come: I´m seeing tartan! About 20 years ago I´ve worn tartan trousers but they were red and had some kind of straps at the feet. I can remember that I was totally in love with them and almost cried when I was grown out of them (yes, it´s true, even I, the little person that I am, have grown).. No wonder, therefore, that I´ve got addicted to the world of tartan again!:) In addition to these trousers I´ve bought a really comfy scarf that you could already see on Instagram (here). What about you, do you already bought some tartan pieces?

Finding My Alter Ego With Think OOTB

Wer meinen Blog schon eine Weile liest, wird gemerkt haben, dass ich kleidungstechnisch eher der klassische Typ bin. Gerne darf es mal ein wenig verspielt sein, Sneakers oder sportliche Kleidung hingegen trage ich so gut wie gar nicht. Als ich dann letztens eine  Anfrage von Think OOTB (kurz für "think out of the box") erhalten habe, ob ich nicht Lust hätte, eines ihrer Caps in einen Outfitpost zu integrieren, hielt ich das für eine tolle Herausforderung. Das Design und auch der aufgestickte Spruch "CAP der guten Hoffnung" hat mir auf Anhieb gefallen, die Farbkombi schwarz/pink war auch voll meins, aber: Wie kombiniere ich so ein sportliches Teil, damit es zu mir und meinem Stil passt? Schnell stand für mich fest, dass der Rest des Outfits eher casual chic sein sollte. Also habe ich das Cap mit meinem schwarzen Skater Rock und hohen Schuhen kombiniert und für den verspielten Touch meinen grauen Pulli von Asos mit Herzabnähern getragen. Noch ein wenig pinken Lippenstift, fertig war mein Cap Outfit. Und ich muss zugeben, ich war echt überrascht, wie gut mir dieser Look gefallen hat!!! Ihr seht, es lohnt sich, mal aus seiner gewohnten "Box" auszubrechen und etwas Neues zu probieren. Also lieben Dank an Think OOTB, ihr habt meinen "Boxen-Horizont" erweitert!:) Wie gefällt euch mein Outfit und was sagt ihr zu dem Cap?

The ones of you who are already following my blog for a little while will probably know that I´m more the classy outfit girl. Sometimes I love to give my outfits a little playful twist and of course I also like to buy some trendy items but when it comes to sporty clothes I´m not the biggest fan at all. So when I was asked by Think OOTB (short for "think out of the box") to create a look with one of their caps I thought it would be fun to give this sporty challenge a try. I really like the design and the slogan "CAP der guten Hoffnung, what means "CAP of good hope" and I also love the color but: How to combine this cap to make it fit to me and my style? I´ve decided to try it with a casual chic combination so I´ve worn the cap together with my black skater skirt, high heels and for the playful touch with my grey jumper by Asos with this cute heart patches. And I have to admit that I was quite suprised by the result because I really like this look!!! I´ve learned once more that it´s quite good to think out of my box sometimes and try out new things! So thank you, Think OOTB , you´ve expanded my box!:) Do you like my outfit and the cap?

The Black Feather Vest

Sobald das Thermometer unter 16°C fällt, beginne ich damit, mein Zuhause und vor allem meinen Kleiderschrank von luftig und leicht auf warm und behaglich umzustellen. So wie Eichhörnchen einen Vorrat an Nüssen sammeln, fange ich an, Decken, Kerzen und alles, was irgendwie behaglich, flauschig oder kuschelig ist, zu horten. Die schwarze Federweste gehört eindeutig zu den flauschigen Teilen und in den letzten zwei Wochen habe ich sie bereits über einem normalen Shirt, einer Bluse, einer Lederjacke, oder wie heute auf den Bildern, über einem Cashmere Pulli (Kuschel-Überdosis!!!) getragen. Auf diese Weise konnte ich sogar noch einmal mein Lieblingssommerkleid anziehen, ohne zu frieren. Praktisch, oder?:) Ich wünsche euch einen schönen Dienstag!

As soon as the temperature drops below 16°C I´m beginning to change my home and especially my wardrobe from airy and light into warm and comfy. Like squirrels start to collect nuts, I´m trying to surrond me with as many blankets, candles and everything that is fluffy, cozy and warm as possible. The black feather vest is one of these fluffy items and I´ve already worn it over a basic shirt, a blouse, a leather jacket or like today over a cashmere sweater (cozyness overload!!!) in the last two weeks. And guess what, paired with this sweater and the feather vest I´m even able to wear my favorite summer dress again without freezing my butt of..:) Happy Tuesday!

Candy Time

Dass ich gerade total auf die Farbe Rosa stehe, ist euch wahrscheinlich schon aufgefallen. Heute zeige ich euch daher mein gestriges Outfit, bei dem der Protagonist kein rosa Rock, sondern ein rosa Cashmere Pullover ist.  Ich habe schon letztes Jahr einen solchen Pulli gesucht, jedoch nur einen aus Angora gefunden. Und das geht leider gar nicht, denn ich bin nicht sonderlich scharf darauf Fussel in den Augen, in den Haaren, auf meiner Hose, meinem Mantel, auf dem Sofa (ich könnte ewig so weiter machen) zu haben. Daher war ich umso glücklicher, dieses weiche Etwas gefunden zu haben und es war einfach Liebe auf den ersten Blick! Wie gefällt euch mein rosaner Neuzugang? Ich wünsche euch ein schönes Wochenende, ihr Lieben!

I guess you´ve already noticed my addiction for pink clothes. Well this time I´m showing you the outfit I was wearing yesterday and this time I´m not wearing a pink skirt, no this time it´s a pink cashmere sweater. I was looking for a pink sweater for a year now but never found the perfect one. Last year I was about to buy one made out of angora wool but to be honest: I wasn´t very keen on having fine pink fluff in my eyes, in my hair, on my pants, on my coat, on the couch (I could go on like this for ages). So I was more than happy when I´ve found this cozy baby and it was love at first sight. Do you like this new pink sweater as much as I do? Have a great weekend, peeps!

What´s In My Bag

Schon als kleines Kind habe ich liebend gerne den gesamten Tascheninhalt von meiner Mama ausgekippt und gestaunt, was sich dort Tolles finden lässt. Auch heute schaue ich mir gerne "What´s In My Bag Posts" an, die Faszination für fremde Tascheninhalte ist somit geblieben!:) Keine Sorge, ich habe keine verbrecherischen Ambitionen, ich finde es einfach nur interessant, was Frau so mit sich rumträgt. Heut ist aber zur Abwechslung mal mein Tascheninhalt dran, der sich in meiner momentanen Lieblingstasche, der Diego Bag von Alexander Wang, befindet. Allerdings muss ich zugeben, dass ich auch nichts gegen eine Tasche von Céline hätte, womit wir schon beim Thema wären. Bei rundum kann man nämlich gerade eine solche gewinnen und das würde ich wirklich liebend gerne!! Teilnehmen kann man übrigens hier. Und wer hat eigentlich gesagt, dass die Tasche samt Tascheninhalt immer nur auf dem Boden ausgebreitet präsentiert werden darf? Es ist doch viel lustiger, wenn alles frei in der Luft schwebt!!!:)  Wer wissen möchte, wie es hinter den Kulissen aussah, der sollte später unbedingt auf meiner Facebook-Seite (klick) vorbeischauen, da gibt es das Auflösungsbild.

Pink Powdery Skirt Meets Black Biker Jacket

Jedes Jahr pünktlich zum Ende der Sommerzeit-/Winterzeit ist es wieder soweit: Die neuen Trends erreichen die Läden. Ich weiß, nicht jeder Trend passt zu jeder Figur und bei manchen Modeneuheiten sollte Frau lieber auf einen anderen Modezug springen. Doch als ich gesehen habe, welche farbliche Exzellenz uns diesen Herbst/Winter vor die Nase gesetzt wird, gab es kein Halten mehr für mich. Rosa Mäntel? Ja, bitte! Rosa Röcke: Hiiiiier!!!!!! Und so kam es, dass ich einen neuen Liebling habe, der mir an deprimierend grauen und kalten Tagen einen Lichtblick bieten wird: Dieses rosa Schätzchen, das ich euch hier schon einmal in einer chiceren Kombi gezeigt habe.

Each year, just at the end of summer/winter it happens again: The new trends hit the stores. I know, not every trend is made for every girl and sometimes we just should skip it and wait for another one. But as soon as I´ve spotted the new trend color for F/W 2013/2014 I was totally hooked. Pink coats? Yes, please! Powdery skirts? Come to mama!!!!! And so here is my new baby that will brighten up my day when I´m struggling with the cold and grey weather: This pink powdery skirt that I´ve already showed you in a more chic combination here.

Pieces Of The Week 55

Unfortunately my laptop is not working right now and I just can use some pics I´ve made with my phone instead of the ones I´ve made with my camera...:( But to make the best of the situation I´ve decided to show you some of my favorite items that I´m using on a regular basis right now. I love burgundy beauty products during fall and winter and my Essie nailpolish "Bahama Mama" and this eye shadow by Chanel work so great together!

Fall doesn´t mean that we can´t have some summer flowers at home. I´ve just dried this hydrangeas and think that they still look really pretty!

 Fall time also means candle time to me and this cinnamon-flavoured one by Diptyque definitely is my favorite one!
