The Girly Plaid Shirt

Und schon wieder Bilder im Schnee. Ich weiß, ich beklage mich momentan andauernd über das kalte und ungemütliche Wetter, aber ich kann diese trübe Suppe einfach nicht mehr sehen. Egal was ich anziehe, ich habe das Gefühl, dass jedes Outfit gleich ist, vor allem meine Schuhauswahl ist momentan sehr eingeschränkt. Es warten schone eine Unmenge an hübschen Ballerinas, Highheels und luftigen Tops darauf, endlich getragen zu werden. Die Bluse die ich euch heute zeige, bildet aber zumindest eine kleine hübsche und farbige Ausnahme. Ich liebe die Farbkombi aus blau und pink und die schwarzen Steine an den Schultern machen das Karohemd noch mädchenhafter und außergewöhnlicher. Ich wünsche euch einen schönen Dienstag!

And once again I´m showing you some snowy pictures. I know I´m complainig a lot about the bad weather lately but I just can´t stand this cold and dull weather anymore. No matter what I´m wearing it feels all the same and especially my selection of winter shoes is very limited. There are wating lots of cute ballerinas, highheels and tops in my wardrobe to be worn. The blouse I´m showing you today is a minor and colourful exception that brightens up my day and mind. I love the combination of the color blue with pink and the little black stones on the shoulders make the blouse look very girly and special. Have a great Tuesday!

Nachdem bei uns heute 20 cm Neuschnee gefallen sind, habe ich mich gedanklich lieber schon mit wärmeren Temperaturen und Sonnenschein befasst und eine kleine Wishlist zusammen gestellt. Fündig geworden bin ich bei dem Onlineshop brandcatcher, der eine sehr große Auswahl an sportlicher Streetwear anbietet. Ganz besonders haben es mir die Sonnenbrillen von Le Specs angetan und ich kann mich noch nicht entscheiden, welche der beiden Sonnenbrillen, die ihr auf dem obigen Bild sehen könnt, mir besser gefällt. Normalerweise ist mein Stil gar nicht so sportlich, aber diese Auswahl an Teilchen gefällt mir gerade deshalb so gut, weil es mal was ganz anderes ist! Was sagt ihr zu meiner sportlichen Auswahl?

When I´m looking out of my window I can only see snow, as there´s at least 20 cm of fresh fallen snow. So to get in the mood of warmer times and sun I´ve made up a little spring wishlist. I´ve found some really cute things at the onlineshop brandcatcher where you can find lots of great and sporty streetwear. I´m totally in love with the sunnies from Le Specs and I can´t decide which one to take. Normally my style is not that kind of sporty but I think that´s why I like these items so much, they are just something new and different for me. What do you think about my little selection?

Red On My Lips

Momentan gehört die Farbe Rot zu meinen liebsten Farben. Selbst wenn ich sie nur auf den Nägeln, oder den Lippen trage, fühle ich mich so energievoll. Ausgehend von der großen Menge an energischem Rot, das ich bei diesem Outfit trage, hätten eigentlich nur Sprungbilder entstehen dürfen. Da man in diesem Fall aber nichts von meinem Outfit gesehen hätte und Sprungbilder mit Rock wahrscheinlich nicht so klug gewesen wären, habe ich mich beherrscht und bin schön auf dem Boden geblieben.:) Welche Farbe tragt ihr momentan am liebsten? Currently I´m obsessed with red items. Even if I´m just wearing red nails or lips this colour makes me feel so full of energy. Based on the amount of red items I´m wearing in this outfit it wouldn´t have been suprising if all pictures were showing me jumping around. But as it´s not very clever to jump around while wearing a skirt and as you could not see any deatails of my outfit I tried to remain on the ground..:) What colour is your favourite at the moment? Blanc Noir

Vor drei Wochen durfte ich beim Lookbook Shooting von St. Emile dabei sein und mir bereits ein Bild von der Herbst-/Winterkollektion 2013/14 machen. Bevor ich euch ein paar Backstagebilder zeigen kann präsentiere ich euch zunächst mein Outfit, das ich an diesem Tag getragen habe. Zum Einsatz kamen dabei drei meiner All-Time Favourites, nämlich meine ACNE Boots, eine bereits etwas ältere H&M-Jeansjacke sowie mein schwarzer Lieblingsrock von Zara (siehe auch HIER und HIER ). Auf den Bildern trage ich zum ersten Mal mein "Blanc Noir"-Shirt von Romwe, das ich vor ein paar Wochen bereits bei Instagram gepostet habe. Auf meinem Instagram-Account findet ihr übrigens immer wieder Bilder, die ich nicht auf dem Blog zeige, wer mir also dort folgen möchte, findet mich unter dem Usernamen @pieces_of_mariposa. About three weeks ago I had the chance to take part at the lookbook shooting from St. Emile for their autumn/winter collection 2013/14. Before I can present you some pictures of the shooting and the clothes I show you the outfit I was wearing for this occasion. I was wearing three of my all-time favourites which are my ACNE boots, a denim jacket I´ve bought at H&M some years ago and my favourite black skirt from Zara (also worn HERE and HERE). It was the first time that I was wearing my new "Blanc Noir" shirt from Romwe that I already showed you some weeks ago on Instagram. Pieces Of The Week 23

Valentine´s gift <3

I have really bad news for you: I´ve found a recipe for a chocolace cake that´s ready in a few minutes. Just mix 30 grams flour with 5 tablespoons sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, 1 egg, 3 tablespoons milk, 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, some raspberries and a pinch of salt in a mug and microwave for two minutes (on high power). Then enjoy and enjoy and enjoy and enjoy... Oh boy this will end in a catastrophe!!!!:)

Splash Of Colour

Wenn das Wetter richtig schlecht ist und es den ganzen Tag unablässig regnet, gibt es doch nichts Besseres, als gegen diese Tristesse mit ein wenig Farbe anzukämpfen. Cremefarbene Spitze gepaart mit mint und orange, welch freudiger Frühlings verheißender Anblick. Weniger schön ist dagegen mein Pony, der sich durch die Luftfeuchtigkeit in alle Richtungen kräuselt, also einfach nicht beachten und die Augen gleich wieder auf die farbigen Aspekte richten!:)

When the weather turns really bad and it starts raining cats and dogs there is nothing better than brighten up the day with some colours. Cream-coloured lace worn with mint and orange, what a joyfully sight that demands for the arrival of spring. Less pleasant are my bangs which are curling in every direction so please don´t pay attention to this and just enjoy the splash of colour!

Hearts For Valentines Day

Was wäre der Valentinstag ohne Herzen? Nachdem ich DIESES Bild und DIESE Anleitung gesehen hatte, beschloss ich, die Herzen dieses Jahr auf den Nägeln zu tragen. Der Kontrast bei den von mir gewählten Farben fällt nicht so extrem aus, ihr könnt also auch ruhig zu etwas knalligeren Farben greifen, mir hat aber gerade diese dezente Kombination sehr gut gefallen!

Can you imagine the Valentines Day without hearts? After I stumbled over this THIS picture and THIS D.I.Y. I decided to wear the hearts on my nails this year. The contrast of the colours I´ve chosen is not that big so you can choose some brighter colours if you want to. I personally love the light and pastelish nail colours!

In Love With Statement Necklaces

Weniger ist mehr. Immer wieder merke ich, dass ich mich in ganz schlichten Outfits am wohlsten fühle. An Tagen, an denen ich völlig uninspiriert vor dem Kleiderschrank stehe und der Meinung bin, dass ich nichts zum Anziehen haben, greife ich gerne zu einem extrem schlichten und häufig überwiegend schwarzem Outfit. Ich liebe es einfach und vor allem tragbar! Gerade der minimalistische skandinavische Stil mit seiner schlichten Eleganz und Marken wie ACNE, COS oder By Malene Birger haben es mir angetan. Um aber bei einem sehr zurückhaltenden Outfit, wie dem heutigen, einen Eyecatcher zu haben greife ich gerne zu opulenten Ketten. Sie werten ganz schnell jedes Outfit auf und sind dazu auch noch sooo hübsch anzusehen! Die Kette, die ich auf den heutigen Bildern trage, konntet ihr bereits gestern in diesem Post sehen. Ich wünsche euch einen guten Start in die neue Woche!

Less is more. I always notice that I feel most comfortable when I´m wearing a really simple outfit. On days on which I´m standing totally uninspired in front of my wardrobe thinking that I have nothing to wear, I end up wearing a very casual and often black outfit. I love it simple and above all wearable! I am particularly taken with the minimalistic Scandinavian style and brands like ACNE, COS or By Malene Birger. But to turn a simple outfit into something special I love to combine it with a statement necklace. They´re the perfect eyecatcher and just look soooo beautiful. I´ve already showed you the necklace I´m wearing in this post.  I wish you a great start into the new week!

Recipe // Macarons For Happiness

Dinge, die die Welt besser machen. Unter diesem Motto steht der Wettbewerb für den COUCH BLOG STAR Award, den das Wohn- und Fashionmagazin COUCH dieses Jahr bei seinem 2. Couch Blogger-Event zum ersten Mal verleihen wird. 

Lange habe ich darüber nachgedacht, wie ich dieses Thema interpretiere und was mir dabei hilft, meine Welt wieder besser zu machen, wenn sie aus dem Lot geraten ist. Eine exzessive Frust-Shoppingtour? Aggressionsschübe? Sich stundenlang bei der besten Freundin ausheulen? Nein, es ist ganz simpel und einfach: Zucker! Und da ich ein Ästhetik-Liebhaber bin darf sich dieser gerne in ein hübsches Gewand hüllen, wie es zum Beispiel bei Macarons der Fall ist. Im Folgenden werde ich euch also mein Happiness-Macarons-Rezept verraten, das euch hoffentlich auch ein Lächeln auf die Lippen zaubern wird. Um aber den Nachhaltigkeitsfaktor nicht nur auf meinen Hüften und in meinem Zuckerrausch-Grinsen sichtbar zu machen, habe ich ein paar Macarons hübsch verpackt, sie an liebe Menschen verschenkt und ihr "Jetzt-Ist-Meine-Welt-Gleich-Ein-Großes-Stück-Besser-Gesicht" festgehalten. Eine bessere Welt für mich und meine Mitmenschen und nachhaltig gute Laune!

Zutaten (für 10-15 Macarons):  
110 g fein gemahlene Mandeln
200 g Puderzucker
30 g Zucker
90 g Eiweiß
Lebensmittelfarbe

Für die Füllung (Ganache):
60 g Kuvertüre, 70 %
10 ml Sahne
eine Hand voll Himbeeren
  

Zubereitung:
Die gemahlenen Mandeln und den Puderzucker vermischen, bei Bedarf nochmal in der Küchenmaschine mahlen und durch ein feines Sieb geben. Das Eiweiß mit der Lebensmittelfarbe vermischen, mit einer Prise Salz beginnen es steif zu schlagen und dabei nach und nach den Zucker unterrühren. Ganz steif schlagen und in mehreren Schritten vorsichtig unter das Mandel-Puderzucker-Pulver heben. Die Masse sollte zäh vom Löffel fließen. Das Gemisch in einen Spritzbeutel geben und auf einem mit Backpapier ausgelegtem Backblech gleichmäßig kleine flache Kreise formen. 45 Minuten ruhen lassen, so dass sich eine feine Kruste auf der Oberfläche bilden kann. Dann bei 140 Grad für 15 Minuten in den Ofen geben (Ober-/Unterhitze). Nach der Backzeit aus dem Ofen nehmen, gut auskühlen lassen und vorsichtig vom Backpapier lösen. 

Für die Füllung die Kuvertüre zerkleinern und in 10 ml heißer Sahne glattrühren. Die Himbeeren hinzugeben und etwas zerstückeln. Die Masse in einen Spritzbeutel geben und im Kühlschrank etwas fester werden lassen. Anschließend auf die eine Macaronshälfte etwas von der Ganache geben und die andere Hälfte vorsichtig drauf drücken. Abkühlen lassen und genießen! Für die Macaronstörtchen habe ich eine Pistaziencreme gemacht, frische Himbeeren auf eine Macaronhälfte platziert und mit der Creme die Zwischenräume gefüllt.

Things that make the world a better place. This is the guiding principle of the competition for the COUCH BLOG STAR Award, which will be awarded at the second COUCH Blogger-Event this year.

I thought long and hard about my interpretation of this theme and what helps me to make my world a better place when I´m in a bad mood and when everything is thrown out of sync. An excessive shopping trip? Aggressiveness? Have a good cry on the best friends shoulder? No, it´s so much easier: sugar! And as I´m a great fan of esthetic the sugar should have a nice appearance like macarons do. So in the following I will tell you my happiness-macarons-recipe that hopefully will put a smile on your lips too. But to show you the sustainability factor not only on my hips and in my grinning face because of too much sugar, I´ve nicely wrapped some of the macarons, gave them to different people and documented the "now-my-world-looks-better-face" by my camera. A better world for me and my fellow human beings and a sustainable good mood.

Ingredients (for 10-15 Macarons):
110 g of ground almonds
200 g powdered sugar
30 g sugar
90 g egg white
food colouring

For the filling (ganache):
60 g chocolate coating, 70 %
10 ml whipped cream
a hand full of raspberries  

Directions:
Mix the ground almonds and the powdered sugar, if needed ground them once again on the mixer and pour the mixture through a fine sieve. Then mix the white egg with the food colouring, beat the egg white with a dash of salt, add the sugar slowly, then beat again until stiff and after that carefully fold it into the almonds-sugar-mixture little by little. The mixture should be chewy but not to firm. Place it into a piping bag and form little flat cookies on a baking tray lined with baking parchment. Let it rest for 45 minutes until a fine crust is developed on the surface. Then bake at 140 degrees for 15 minutes (top and bottom heating). After 15 minutes of cooking remove from the oven, let it cool down and then remove the macarons carefully from the paper.

For the filling crush the chocolate into small pieces and stir it in heated whipped cream until the chocolate is melted. Add the raspberries and chop them a little. Place the mixture into a piping bag and let it cool down in the fridge. Then pour some of the chocolate on one of the macarons halves and carefully place the other half on top. Let it cool down and enjoy!
For the little macaronspies I´ve made a pistachio cream, placed the raspberries on the macarons halve and filled the remaining gasps with this cream.
