Burgundy Pompons

Wie steht ihr zu dem Thema Blazer? Ich persönlich tue mich in dieser Hinsicht nämlich relativ schwer. Bisher habe ich noch kein wirklich vorteilhaftes schwarzes chices Exemplar gefunden, das richtig gut sitzt und das ich sowohl zu Arbeitsmeetings als auch im Freizeitlook tragen kann. Schuld daran ist meine Zwergengröße und meine schmale Figur. Die meisten Blazer sind mir selbst in der kleinsten Größe zu weit, zu lang, oder sie gefallen mir schlichtweg nicht. Erschwerend hinzu kommt, dass ich mich in richtig klassischen Modellen einfach nicht wohl fühle. Meine Sammlung ist daher auch relativ klein. Die Exempare, die ich besitze, schätze ich dafür aber umso mehr und einer meiner absoluten Lieblinge ist der Blazer von Maison Scotch, den ihr auf den heutigen Outfitbildern sehen könnt. Ich liebe die Farbe, das Material, die kleinen eingearbeiteten Steine und natürlich die hübschen weinroten Pompons. Einfach ein weißes Basicshirt darunter und fertig, so liebe ich das!:)

Whats your position on blazers? I personally have some problems in this regard. So far I haven´t found a well fitting and classy black one that can be used as well for a business meeting as for casual wear. This can be blamed on my short stature and my modest build. Most of the times even the smallest blazers are to big for me or I just don´t like them. What makes the situation more difficult is that I do not feel very comfortable in classic models, they´re just not my cup of tea. Because of this my collection is very small. So I love the ones I have even more. One of my favorites is the blazer I´m wearing in this post. It´s from Maison Scotch and I´m totally in love with the color, the material, the little stones and of course the cute burgundy pompons. I´ve worn it with a white basic shirt. Simple and easy, exactly how I like it!:)

Pieces Of The Week 20

I´ve spent almost the whole weekend in the kitchen trying to make macarons. Do you like the result?:)

Friday night was pasta time at my favourite Italian restaurant with lovely Marie.

Besides the great food you can find lots of funny pictures on the wall showing people who are eating pasta. 

So when the owner brought us some extra pasta we just couldn´t resist and started playing around!:)

I love fresh fruits (and frozen fruits) in my cereals.

Snow crystals on my window?? I need summer and heat!!!

Wie versprochen folgt nun auch endlich ein Outfit mit einem meiner neu erstandenen Shirts von Maje, die ich euch hier gezeigt habe. Zugegebenermaßen, man sieht nicht wirklich viel davon, aber ich wollte es euch unbedingt in getragenem Zustand zeigen. Im Sommer gibt es dann noch viel mehr und viel bessere Outfitbilder mit diesem süßen Teil, versprochen!:)

Admittedly you can´t see it very good as I had to wear it with a lot of stuff on top but I really wanted to show how it looks. But I can promise you that in the summer time you will see lots of outfitposts with this cutie!:)

Guten Morgen meine Lieben! Geht es euch auch so, dass ihr nach ein paar Monaten voller Daunenjacken, Handschuhen und Mützen den Winter und die dazugehörige warme Kleidung nicht mehr sehen könnt? Ich bin jetzt definitv an diesem Punkt angelangt. Ich würde so gerne meine ganze Wintergarderobe gegen luftige Sommerkleider und Shorts austauschen! Bei den heutigen Outfitbildern trage ich gegen meinen Winterblues einen Pullover von Maje, der eigentlich zu meiner Frühjahrs-/Sommergarderobe gehört, da er aus sehr dünnem Strick ist.  Dieses Teil hat meine Stimmung gleich wieder gesteigert und zusammen mit meiner dicken Daunenjacke war es schließlich ein vernünftig warmes Outfit!:)

Good morning lovelies! Do you know the feeling that after a long period of down jackets, gloves and knitted caps you can´t stand the winter any longer? I´ve just reached this point. I´d love to change my winter outfit against some summer dresses or shorts! So today I´m showing you an outfit which shows at least one piece of my spring/summer clothes, a very light sweater from Maje. Wearing this my mood immediately improved and together with my warm jacket it was a quite warm outfit!:)

Winter Wonderland

Auch wenn ich mir schon längst den Frühling herbei wünsche, die momentane Schneepracht lässt selbst meine Augen funkeln. Das Fluchen beginnt erst , wenn die große Schneeschmelze kommt und das hübsche Weiß in braunen Matsch verwandelt. Bilden meine roten Handschuhe nicht den perfekten Kontrast zu dem weißen Schnee? Kombiniert habe ich sie mit einer Jacke, die ich schon seit Ewigkeiten besitze. Letzten Winter hatte ich mich an ihr satt gesehen und sie daher kein einziges mal getragen. Gestern hat sie mir allerdings mal wieder richtig gut gefallen. Ich habe euch mein Outfit auf dem letzten Bild in einer Collage, einem so genannten Board, zusammen gestellt. Solche Boards könnt ihr auf der Seite der Fashion Community  Stylight erstellen. Das Tolle daran ist, dass ich für euch die Teile, die ich in meinem Outfit trage, in gleicher oder ähnlicher Form heraussuchen kann und ihr durch Anklicken des gewünschten Produktes direkt in einen Shop geleitet werdet, wo ihr es kaufen könnt. Die von mir erstellten Boards könnt ihr euch hier anschauen. Wie gefällt euch die Idee mit dem Board, soll ich das in Zukunft häufiger machen?

Even if I´m longing for the spring, the fantastic white snow actually makes my eyes sparkle. The cursing begins when the beautiful white snow turns into brown mush of snow. The red gloves offer the perfect color contrast to the white snow, don´t they? I´ve worn them with a jacket that I have bought years ago. Last winter I´ve got tired of it and therefore never have worn it, but yesterday it seemed to be the perfect jacket and I really like the result. In the last picture you can see a photo collage, a so-called board, that I´ve created for you. You can make such boards on the Stylight website. The great thing is that I can look for the clothes I´m wearing or at least for similar items and you can buy them in a shop by clicking at the item. You can see all my boards here. Do you like the idea with the boards? Should I offer them to you regularly?

Recipe // Porcini Mushroom Risotto

Zutaten (für 2-3 Personen): 
250 Gramm Risottoreis (hier: Ferron Carnaroli Reis)
30 Gramm getrocknete Steinpilze
2 Schalotten

1/4 Liter trockener Weißwein

Gemüsebrühe (ein paar Löffel)

1,5 Liter Wasser

20 g Butter

Salz und Pfeffer

frisch geriebener Parmesan (Menge nach Belieben)  
  

Zubereitung:

Die getrockneten Steinpilze in kaltem Wasser einweichen. In der Zwischenzeit die Gemüsebrühe in 1,5 Liter Wasser zum Kochen bringen und leicht köcheln lassen. Die Schalotten fein hacken. Anschließend das Einweichwasser der Steinzpilze zu der Gemüsebrühe geben und die Pilze zusammen mit den Schalotten in Butter andünsten. Den Reis zugeben und etwa 2 Minuten glasig dünsten. Mit Weißwein ablöschen, kurz aufkochen und unter ständigem Rühren einkochen lassen. Sobald die Flüssigkeit eingekocht ist, 1-2 Schöpfkellen der heißen Brühe zugeben und wieder unter Rühren einkochen lassen. Diesen Schritt so oft wiederholen, bis der Reis cremig, aber noch ein wenig bissfest ist. Es kann durchaus sein, dass ihr eine halbe Stunde rühren müsst, also habt Geduld und rührt fleißig um!:) Zum Schluss den geriebenen Parmesan und ein wenig Butter zugeben und unterrühren. Mit Salz und Pfeffer würzen und servieren.

Ingredients (makes 2-3 portions):

250 gram risotto rice (I´m using Ferron Carnaroli Rice)30 gram dried porcini
2 shallots
a quarter litre of dry white whine
some vegetable broth
one and a half litre of water
20 g butter
salt and pepper
freshly grounded parmesan cheese (amount at will)
    
Directions:
Steep the dried porcini in cold water. In the meantime bring the vegetable broth and the water to the boil, then let it simmer slightly. Finely dice the shallots. After this pour the steep water in the vegetable broth and steam the porcini together with the shallots in hot butter. Then add the rice and mix it all with a wooden spoon for two minutes. Deglaze with the white wine, boil briefly and then stir continuously. As soon as the wine is boiled down add a small ladle of hot broth and boil down whilst stirring. Repeat this step until the rice is creamy but still a little firm to the bite. Be patient because you will have to stir up to half an hour!:) To finish up add the parmesan and a little butter, season to taste with salt and pepper and serve.

You Never Can Go Wrong With A Striped Shirt

Streifenshirts – a never ending love story! Wenn ich nicht weiß, was ich anziehen soll, greife ich liebend gerne zu Streifenshirts. Egal ob schwarz/weiß, rot/weiß, blau/weiß oder wie in diesem Fall schwarz/blau, ich fühle mich darin immer sofort wohl. Allerdings bin ich schon seit einer Ewigkeit auf der Suche nach DEM perfekten Streifenshirt in schwarz/weiß. Ich besitze zwar bereits zwei Exemplare, aber bei dem einen bin ich mit der Farbe und dem Material, bei dem anderen mit dem Schnitt nicht 100-prozentig zufrieden. Habt ihr einen guten Tipp für mich, um meine Liebe zu Streifenshirts zu unterstützen?:) Ich wünsche euch einen schönen Dienstag!

Striped shirts – a never ending love story! When I´m not sure about what to wear, I never can go wrong with a striped shirt. No matter what colour, I love them all: black/white, red/white, blue/white or like in this outfit black/blue. However since a long time I´m looking for the perfect black and white one. I own two of them, but I´m not totally sure about the colour, the material or the cut. Can you recommend a special brand to support me with my addiction?;) Have a great day!

Heute zeige ich euch endlich den Inhalt der Tüte von Maje, die ich euch vor ein paar Tagen hier gezeigt habe. Ich habe mich total in diese beiden Shirts verliebt und kann es jetzt kaum erwarten, bis der Frühling kommt, da meine beiden neuen Lieblinge viel zu schön sind, um sie unter eine Lage Winterklamotten zu verstecken!
