Spring On My Lips

Heute gibt es auf Wunsch ein paar Leser eine kurze Review zu einem neuen Beautyprodukt in meiner Sammlung. Es handelt sich um PocketPal von Benefit. Auf der einen Seite dieses handlichen Stiftes ist ein Fläschchen mit Benetint, ein Lippen- und Wangenrouge, auf der anderen Seite ein transparenter Gloss. Mit dem Pinselapplikator pinselt man die rote Tinktur auf die Lippen und wer mag trägt anschließend für ein bisschen Glanz den Gloss auf. Der Vorteil: Die Tinktur hält wirklich lange lange lange und es sieht sehr natürlich aus. Für ein dunkleres Ergebnis, die Tinktur einfach mehrere Male auftragen. Auch auf den Wangen funktioniert das sehr gut, für süße Apfelbäckchen drei kleine Striche auftragen und mit den Fingern verblenden. Aber Vorsicht: Nach dem Auftragen recht zügig verteilen, sonst trocknet die Farbe ein und man sieht wie ein kleiner Indianer aus. Die eingetrockneten Streifen sind wirklich schwer zu entfernen, also nicht wie ich mal kurz die Post entgegennehmen haha!

Due to some requests on a new beauty product I´ve bought last week I will give you a little review for it today. I´m talking about Pocketpal from the brand Benefit. It contains two little bottles with Benetint on one side, a rouge for your lips and cheeks, and a transparent lip gloss on the other side. Apply the tincture with the little brush applicator and for some glamour finish with some gloss. The benefit: the tincture last for hours and it looks really natural. And if you want a darker result just apply it two or three times. For cute apple cheeks apply three little lines on your cheeks and gently rub with your fingers. But make sure you rub it right away because the colour dries fast. So do not open the door for the postman before you haven´t finished, it´s really hard to remove the lines, believe me I know what I´m talking about haha! 
 

 

Und um für euch die Haltbarkeit der Farbe zu testen habe ich, aufopferungsvoll wie ich bin, einen gaaanz kleinen Becher Eis gekauft und als ob das noch nicht genug wäre als Härtetest auch noch fleißig testgebusselt. Ergebnis: Hält und gefällt!:)

And to test the durability I´ve bought a really small box with ice cream (I would do everything for you guys:)) exchanged some kisses with my frog prince. The result: good product, good buy!:)

The Origami Skort

Ja, ihr habt richtig gelesen: Der Protagonist in meinem heutigen Outfitpost ist dieser hübsche weiße Skort. Quasi eine Rockmogelpackung, zusammengesetzt aus den Wörtchen skirt und short. Als Kind hatte ich ebenfalls so ein Beinkleid, damals nannte es meine Mama noch liebevoll Hosenrock. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war ich vier Jahre alt und noch dem Kleidungsdiktat meiner Mamacita unterworfen, was unter anderem kratzige Hosenröcke und fürchterliche Spitzenkrägen zur Folge hatte.  Da diese Zeiten zum Glück lange vorbei sind und ich das Wort Hosenrock schon immer total blöd fand trage ich heute einen selbst ausgesuchten (es lebe die Selbstbestimmung) Skort, der mich stark an Origamikunst erinnert! Ach ja, die Krägen trage ich heute freiwillig, allerdings nennen sie sich heute Bübchenkragen und sie sind definitiv hübscher als die Varianten, die ich als Kind tragen musste..:) Ich wünsche euch einen schönen Mittwoch!

Yes, you have read correctly: Today´s protagonist is this white and lovely skort. Basically a skirt bluff package composed of the words skirt and short. As a kid I used to wear that kind of pants too but at that time my mom called them affectionately pant skirts. I was about four years old and I had to wear what my mum wanted me to what means that I had to wear scratchy pant skirts and terrible lace collars. These times are over for sure and as I always hated the word pant skirt I´ve decided to wear this cute skort instead that reminds me of origami and of course I´ve chosen it by myself (long live the self-determination)! Oh and I´m wearing collars again but nowadays they are called Peter Pan collars and they definitely look much better than the ones I had to wear as a kid..:) Have a great day!

Na, hattet ihr alle ein schönes Wochenende, was habt ihr unternommen? Am Samstag hatte ich ein nettes kleines Bloggertreffen mit der lieben Anni von Fashion Kitchen und der süßen Julia von Quassel Jule. Direkt im Anschluss ging es weiter zum Geburtstag einer guten Freundin und auf dem Programm stand wandern!!! Klingt schlimm, war aber echt schön und zugegebenerweise, es war wohl eher ein kleiner Spaziergang mit viel Kuchen, Capri Sonne und Hugo to Go, aber hey wir waren an der frischen Luft und haben uns sportlich betätigt haha!:) Aber nun zu meinem Outfit. Meine Liebe zu Streifenshirts habt ihr sicherlich schon mitbekommen, weitere Outfits findet ihr beispielsweise auch hier, hier und hier. Dieses Mal gibt es also die rote Variante. Zusammen mit meinem schwarzen Blazer (oder Jacke?), einer grauen Jeans und Boots genau das richtige Outfit für einen kleinen Stadtbummel. Und könnt ihr die Sonnenstrahlen im Hintergrund sehen? Frau Sonne, wirklich schön, dass du dich mal wieder sehen lässt!:) Was ist eurer Lieblingsoutfit für den Alltag?

I hope all of you had a great weekend, what did you do? On Saturday I took part at a little blogger get-together with the two super cute blogger girls Anni from Fashion Kitchen and Julia from Quassel Jule. Right after that I went to the birthday bash of friend of mine and this time we made a walking tour!!! This sounds bad but it was really nice and admittedly it was rather a little stroll with lots of cake, Capri Sun and Hugo to Go but hey we were spending out and about in the fresh air haha!:) But enough of that let´s talk about my outfit. You already know that I´m a big fan of striped shirts like you can see here, here and here. This time I´ve chosen the red version and together with my black blazer (or rather jacket), grey jeans and boots it´s the perfect combination for making the daily errands or some shopping. And can you see the sun beams in the pictures? Dear sun it´s really nice to have you here again!:) What is your favorite outfit for everyday life?

Today I´m showing you five things I´m loving right now. Bought this lipstick/rouge from Benefit yesterday and it´s already one of my favorites.

It seems that I had a lucky week and as this gift arrived at home I couldn´t be more happy! Thank you Mehrnaz and thank you Veuve Clicquot!

How often do you need to buy new flowers? I´m buying fresh tulips every week because they´re only in bloom for five days? Nevertheless I´m love how they look!:)
